I’ve moved through different creative worlds, from studying jazz improvisation and history with Kenny Burrell and Gerald Wilson, to working as a jazz pianist, an architectural draftsman, and a university instructor in the humanities. Each of these paths has shaped how I approach art today, culminating in the publication of Squiggle Art Journey, Vol. 1: Man vs. AI, a collection of my spontaneous drawings paired with AI interpretations.

At the heart of my work is a belief that creativity is about transformation. Influenced by Miles Davis, I value spontaneity, intuition, and the courage to move beyond the familiar, stringing together moments that feel alive and uncharted. I also see the human being as a kind of tube for energy and vibration. When clarified through meditation, that energy flows through us and emerges as genuine creativity. My practice, whether in drawing, writing, or music, is about opening that channel and trusting what comes through.
